We Will Not Conform
“…at the sound of...all kinds of music, you will fall down and worship the image which I (Nebuchadnezzar) have made.” - Daniel 3:15
I was reading this passage one day; you know the story of Shedrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. Apparently, I got ticked off at the enemy and his schemes to pervert worship then and now. So out came the following declaration.
As we (children of God) hear the music of the world – instruments of the world; we will not bow it, but we will stand strong.
Our declaration:
I will not bow to the god of position, money, greed, envy, pride, comparison, competition, copy cat, lust, syndication, deception, and lies. These are the instruments of the world and their music is poison. These gods have tainted the music and musicians of heaven. You can kick us out of the industry, you can fire us, you can black list us, and you can call us weird, stupid and unconventional. We’d rather sing and play the music of heaven. We’d rather glorify our savior then bow and bend to the ways of this world.

And we know that our God, God of heaven and earth, Creator of the universe, the one whom everything exist…He’s got our back. We will be saved with out a scratch. We will be transformed.
So play your music-enemy of our souls and watch us as we refuse to bow and bend. Watch us as we stand strong. Stand in honor of the King of Kings.
We frustrate the word of our enemy. We disturb the plans of the enemy.
